Small Business Lawsuits and Individual Lawsuits as Third Party Defendant

Small businesses or individuals may be drawn into lawsuits as third party defendants by others seeking to spread around the number of parties helping pay to resolve problems.  Often an attorney can get you out of the suit for a nominal settlement or a court finding that you should not be in there to begin with.  But you may have to answer written or oral discovery questions and be sure to have the right papers timely filed on your behalf. Do not delay in contacting an attorney if you are served with a law suit.
